Kardashian’s Society or True Authenticity

What does it mean to love yourself? What does it mean to be happy in your own skin? What does it mean to be in harmony with your soul? Why is this so hard to achieve?

To truly love yourself it means that you love all your flaws. It means that you love yourself no matter the consequence and no matter the cost. Love is the ultimate vibration of acceptance. It is the understanding that your heart is full and that you can see past the negative because you have compassion, grace, and fulfillment in your heart. To truly love yourself it is the knowing that you are divine and perfect.

Society gives us a sense of normal that is the farthest thing from authentic. People spend their entire lives trying to fit in when they were born to stand out. Self-love is finding that inner peace and inner truth. Being completely comfortable with all of who you are at the core of your soul. This is not about the pampering spa days or days to lounge and do nothing. This is radical acceptance of your life experiences, your body and getting to know yourself and coming to terms with the fact that you are truly amazing in every way. You are perfectly designed to be in tune with your body and life path. Society tells you what the perfect body should look like, smell like, and what is sexy or unattractive.

Today’s society is superficial, full of fake breasts, butts, all different implants, and cosmetic surgeries. Ever since the Kardashians, people are changing their bodies to fit into the masses, and everyone now looks the same. Individuality is lost and authenticity is hidden. The beauty in the differences that people share is now non-existent and self-esteem, self-worth, confidence and personality have deteriorated. Everyone is afraid of being cancelled, called out or thought to not be beautiful that it is making society even uglier than it was before. When you can let go of what society thinks of you and step into your own spirit and individuality, you become successful and beautiful. That is when you become comfortable in your own skin, and you get to step free from the distortion of society.

You may still feel connected to what society thinks and that is ok. It doesn’t mean you won’t evolve and do the work to clear your distortions and become the best version of yourself. It means that you are doing the work, acknowledging what you want and in doing that, you will become one with yourself every step of the way. Like the moon, it is perfect in every phase, so are you! Your thoughts, feelings, needs, opinions, boundaries matter. Once you start accepting all of this, you find yourself in absolute harmony with your soul. This means that you get to experience life as it comes without fighting it. It is flowing with the current of life and moving in the direction that your intuition/soul are guiding you to be on for you to be happy and authentic. It is the movement away from the sheep and stepping into your power as the lion. It is tending your own garden and facilitating your growth by diving within yourself to heal and do the work. It is stepping away from pleasing others and society’s false norms.

When you conform to the will of others, you lose a piece of your soul along the way. You become a fragmented version of yourself. When you people please and bend over backwards for others without boundaries you are betraying yourself and neglecting what your soul is calling you to do and what you need. It is ok to be a flake, it is ok to say no, it is ok to stand in your power, stand up for yourself and speak your truth. You can walk away from a situation, end a relationship, agree to table a conversation until you are ready to discuss it. It is ok to tell people what you need, it is ok to be vulnerable, it is ok to cry, it is ok to be whatever you need to be in any given moment. When you stay true to your soul, to your needs, to your heart, you become aligned with your true purpose and the depths of your soul.

When you are aligned with your soul, the fear of the unknown lessens, and your overthinking diminishes minute by minute. It is the not knowing that causes fear, be of the hurt, betrayal, self-betrayal, lack of boundaries and punishment or consequences you’ve experienced in life that make you want to control the outcome. When you surrender to the unknown and just begin to flow through life, it begins to flow in a much different and natural way. “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.” – Woody Allen. This is true, you have a divine purpose and spirit wants to reward you with all your blessing, but first you must take the limitations off that your brain has imposed upon the divine reward.

Why is all this alignment, harmony and love so hard to achieve? Because everyone wants to fit in. When you can step away from the pre-conceived notions of society and stand in your own personal power you make the quantum leaps and heal the part of you that feels the need to hide in your own head. You release the overthinking and trauma responses and realize that bold is beautiful, that truth is necessary and that no matter what authenticity is what brings in success. As a society, there are some that are extremely successful or have incredible businesses or a huge following on social media. People want to be successful, so they emulate what they have already seen. Oscar Wilde said, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” He is indeed correct that you should be flattered if someone is copying you, but it does not ensure their success. You achieved your place in life because of your hard work, ingenuity, and intuition. When you copy others, you are not being authentic, you are mimicking what you saw would work for someone else.

In order to succeed you must take the road less traveled, to find your own lane and let you intuition be the guide. It is possible to create the life you have always dreamed of, but first you must get there by standing on your own and doing what your soul is guiding you to do. Stop worrying about the Kardashians are doing or whoever your favorite celebrity is and just do you! Without fear of what the public thinks or says, without self-loathing and without fear of failure. When you can have absolute love for yourself, faith in your intuition, spirit and the unknown and trust in your soul, you can achieve anything. It is not easy, but once you get there you obtain the abundance you have always dreamed of. You can achieve anything in life, just believe, do the work, trust your intuition, be authentic and love yourself.
