What is the cause of Self Abuse and why do you choose that over Personal Power?
How do you step into personal power? How do you find power in your life when you feel as though you don’t have any? The first step in this is difficult but it is imperative to initiating your journey through the evolution of your soul and your connection to spirit. You start by keeping your word to yourself. This is masculine energy. This allows others to keep their word to you as well. This is how you create; this is your channel from spirit. When you are born the only thing, you are truly born with as a survival instinct is your ability to cry out. All animals and living thing on this planet were born with a survival instinct. As that human, animal, thing, organism matures and grows it has the ability to strengthen that natural ability. Humans are born with a voice. The ability to call out for help. The more you grow, the more you learn, the more you strengthen that ability to form words, thoughts and communicate your needs. Your voice is your power. It is your survival. It is your direct connection to spirit. Your thoughts stem from the creator, from source and filter through your mind, into your brain allowing your previous experiences to dictate what you need to know. It is essentially a filter for all of your information. Through there you speak what has been filtered into existence. Your words carry weight and the more you keep your word the more you are able to connect to spirit and to take back your power.
Working through your distortions allows you to change how filtered your information from spirit is. Your ego is the greatest filter you must deal with. It stems from childhood and past life trauma and situations that alter your integrity and break your spirit to fit society’s mold of domestication or acceptance of the norm. This creates your personality. Your current state is based on what others told you to believe and created the integrity and moral capacity that your elders who raised you instilled in you. Now is the time to self-rule. To “domesticate” yourself. To break free from the bonds placed upon you through the eyes of a distorted society that didn’t see the authentic life. They raised generation after generation with the pre-conceived trauma that existed within the line perpetuating cycles that your soul has chosen to break free from.
One trauma that your soul is trying to break free from is judgment. The way you judge yourself is the harshest you will ever be judged. When you judge your actions, your reject your true self. You believe that your actions are wrong based on the upbringing you endured and the norms of society that were placed upon you. You learned through repetition as a child with distinct behaviors and rewards or punishments for those behaviors what was right and what was wrong. This created a false sense of justice in your eyes. When you feel judgement upon yourself or others, this brings negative feelings of self, image. When you feel negative actions have occurred, you feel the need to punish yourself. You were punished as a child and so the cycle continues through adulthood. You are now parenting yourself and possibly others. This punishment at this point on yourself is now self-abuse. This twisted sense of right and wrong allows for judgement and punishment of self which then projects outward to others. This sets your precedence for how much you abuse others, while at the same time it determines how much you abuse you will tolerate from others.
How do you decipher your level of abuse? Start with your self-talk. If you speak negatively to yourself or judge the way you look in the mirror you are allowing yourself to do this to others and allowing others to do this to you. How do you justify the amount you abuse yourself? This is all about tuning into yourself on a regular basis. Keep a note in your phone or on a piece of paper for a week straight if you can. How many times per day do you catch yourself judging others or your own actions, behaviors or looks? Even if you don’t write it down, the more you acknowledge it and catch it in the moment, the more attuned you become to the pattern you are trying to alter or break. The more attuned you are, the more you notice it. Once you notice or acknowledge it, you can say something nice to yourself or the other person. After a while you will have broken the cycle and won’t be in such harsh judgement. There are so many layers to this though.
The deeper you dive into this this, the more you realize how ingrained this behavior is in your soul and humanity in general. People pleasing is also a type of abuse. It is self-betrayal. When you betray yourself to please others you are negating and neglecting what your inner self, your soul is trying to tell you it needs, wants or hopes for. Allow yourself to speak your truth to break free from this. Put yourself first. It is ok to say no. It is ok to back out of plans. It is ok to ask for more time to make a decision and to think things through. It is ok to ask someone not to ask you something or talk about something with you. Setting boundaries is self-care. Self-betrayal is abuse. When you walk away from these patterns, you attune to a higher timeline and version of yourself. These steps are the beginning of transitioning into self-love instead of self-abuse and self-rejection to self-acceptance. When you start to see the beauty in everyone else and in yourself, you start to come from a space of love instead. This raises your vibration and clears some of your distortions.
What is perfection? Perfection does not exist. It is a false narrative created by society that brings you into fear consciousness and traps you into striving to be something you are not and placing you on a constant journey of self-betrayal. Because of society telling you to be perfect and placing you in competition with others, it alters your sense of self and the image you have or should be in your own mind. What image of perfection have you created? How do you feel as though you are not enough? What are you not doing that you think you should be? What do others have that you do not? These are questions that you should not be asking yourself. The only person you should be in competition with is yourself.
You reject yourself when you strive for perfection. Your distortions were caused by those who raised you broke your self-integrity and self-love and freedom. How can you forgive yourself for not being perfect? Tune into you I AM illusion. The more you acknowledge what the illusions are, the more you find the reality you are meant to have. Reject anything that doesn’t feel right in your gut and do the things that feel right in your heart. Trust your process and know that you are exactly where you are meant to be. You are who you are and that is beautiful, magical and divine. No one can be you, stop trying to be like anyone else. The more you radically accept yourself, the more in alignment you become with your soul and the universe.
What is your dream? What is society’s dream? Society’s dream is to have few thinkers and basically robots that do as they are told. They want people who are unawakened and are sheep. You are the lion not the lamb. You are the divine being, not an entity to be manipulated. You are not a waste of space; you are a god and a goddess wrapped up in one incredible package. Your dream is to be authentic, and to achieve anything that your soul desires. Just make sure that your dream is for you and no one else. Spirit will reward you when the time is right and when you are super clear on what you want. When you are in a void or a state of unknowing, you are in a state of fear. This makes your personal dream an ongoing nightmare of fear. Fear that you will not ever attain it or potentially fear that you will. When you fear not attaining it, it stems from you not feeling worthy of it. When you fear that you will attain it, you fear that it will be taken away from you, generally because of worth, but it can also be out of self-betrayal and punishment as a child. When you realize that your fears are debilitating, you realize that you are choosing suffering over growth. Why do you choose suffering over actual growth? Because the suffering and fear are the known and the growth is the unknown. When you move out of what is known, your fear takes over and brings you into the trauma of the past. It takes strength and courage to move out of the known and into the light. This is all extremely difficult to do, but it is attainable. You will not see immediate results, but once the balls tarts moving and the roots have grown deep from the seeds you have planted, there will be no stopping you. Once you awaken to the reality of your life, there is non going back to sleep. I welcome you to the reality of your existence and can’t wait to see what your path holds for you. Welcome to the next stage of your awakening. I am so proud of you.
